RESTORATIVE YOGA (YR) is a receptive relaxation where the body and mind are restored, rebalanced and re-new.

We live in a world that values doing more than Being. Valuing what we do more than how we do it, this practice allows us to remain in the impermanence of stillness sustained by elements.

This art of stillness faces spaces without activity and that is when we stop filling each moment with activities that isolates us from ourselves, from our own connection with deep feelings that perhaps we prefer to avoid. When we remain in stillness, our mind invades us with more and more ruminant thoughts...until we return to our connection and that is where we begin to restore ourselves by returning to homeostasis. It is from here that we transform without investing in action or external movement.

At this moment in which all this is happening, allowing ourselves to be supported and trusting in the different supports (blankets, chairs, blocks, ribbons), we begin to enter meditative states. The goal is not to stretch but to open up.
